APPLICATIONS:

It is found very useful in medical application; in applications where the illuminated object cannot stand heat (most sources of bright illumination also produce heat);applications where optimal lighting requires a bright spot light falling on the object with rest of the field remaining dark such as in gemology; and, in applications where inaccessile object or deep cavity/hole is required to be illuminated.
