Quality Assurance at Lensel Optics

All lenses supplied by Lensel are checked to ensure that they meet customer quality requirements.

Lensel has advanced Measurement systems including Fujinon Interferometers, Trioptics Lens Measurement System, Spectrophotometers, Auto-collimators etc and a 15 member dedicated QC team to ensure complete customer satisfaction

MSIL Green Rated Supplier

In 2023 Lensel completed rigorous implementation of Maruti Suzuki Supplier Quality Management system and achieved its Green Rating

Lensel has maintained ISO certification for both glass and plastic lines since 2010.

Fujinon Spherical Surface Vertical Interferometers

Displays Interferogram on Monitor for determining surface irregularity

Manual interpretation of Surface Figure

Digital scale for measurement of Radius of Curvature.

RoC Range: +250 mm to -300 mm.

Plano master available for creating interferograms of flat surfaces.

Trioptics Lens Measurement System

Trioptics Opti-Centric 100 System with Opti-Spheric Module

Used for Measuring Centration Error of Lenses. It allows for measurement of Centration error in lenses with EFFL between +/- 2000 mm.

Used for measuring Effective Focal Length (EFL), Back Focal Distance (BFD) and MTF measurements for lenses with EFL between +/- 450 mm

Thermo-Fisher Spectrophotometer

Measures transmission through optical flats. Range is 200 nm to 1100 nm.

Filmetrics Spectrophotometer

Fiber optic based, measures reflectance directly off the curved surfaces of the Lens. Range is 380 nm to 1700 nm.

Lens Aesthetics Inspection

Special tables with dark background for quick defect inspection.

4X magnifier for detailed view.

Trained QC inspectors with years of experience

Autocollimator

LC of 20 arc seconds.

Measures wedge angles for optical flats and windows.

Mitutoyo Digital Gauges for thickness (1 micron LC).

Mitutoyo Digital Micrometers for diameter (1 um LC).

Ball cup spherometers for radii of curvature (outside interferometer range).
